At Studio Woanya, (Pronounced one-ya), we believe good design should do more than look good. It should communicate clearly, build confidence and help a business achieve its goals.
We work with small and medium-sized businesses across branding, graphic design, packaging, print and marketing, creating thoughtful and purposeful design that helps brands stand out, connect with their customers and be remembered.
With a growing focus on food and product-based businesses, we’re particularly interested in helping businesses turn great products into strong, memorable brands. From developing a visual identity to creating packaging and marketing materials, we consider how every element works together to tell your story and present your business professionally.
Why “One-Ya”?
Woanya is the family name of the founder of Studio Woanya, Larry Woanya, originating from the Ewe tribe in Ghana and sub-Saharan Africa and is pronounced “One-ya” — a simple mnemonic to help people remember the name.
And that idea of being remembered is central to what we do. Whether you're building a new business, developing an existing brand or bringing a new product to market, we create design that is distinctive, purposeful and built to leave a lasting impression.

Founder’s message
Dale Carnegie once said; ‘You can conquer almost any fear if you will only make up your mind to do so. For remember, fear doesn't exist anywhere except in the mind.’
I launched Studio Woanya in the summer of 2025. The aim of the business is to support various establishments with their graphic design branding endeavours. From logo creation and management, to product and package visualisation, set up and continued support. I had to conquer my fear of failure and take the plunge, as they say, in order to get going whenever I had any self-doubt along the way. Other sayings by George Eliot and Confucius were helpful, but Carnegie’s quote motivated me the most, when I felt I wasn't good enough to succeed.
Like any meaningful undertaking, I needed support from the great people in my life and I discovered some new amazing support along the way too. This video is an homage to all these wonderful people. Enjoy and hopefully be inspired to bravely pursue your dreams.
